Empowering Children Through Education

Children Across America is dedicated to organizing educational programs for kids, supported by our sponsors and partners. Our motto? "A child who reads becomes an adult who thinks®." We assist children in grades K-5 in developing reading and math skills through free, enjoyable, and interactive programs held throughout the year. These programs inspire kids to read more, even outside of school, and help them discover the practical use of numbers in everyday life.

Their services are free, and the kids seem to enjoy the process. The staff is wonderful and very good with the children. As a parent, I appreciate their "Safe Harbor" policy, which requires at least two adults to supervise each child. This gives me peace of mind, knowing that the children's safety is their foremost concern.

Our History

A Timeline of Impact and Outreach

Our charity foundation, established in 2007 as the Children Across America embarked on a mission to promote STEM, Coding for Girls, equitable educational resources, preventative healthcare education, expand access to health insurance, and foster academic enrichment for children in the underserved community. From launching STEM, Robotics, Girls Love to Code and Math Clubs to initiating car safety programs and providing ongoing support to children in need, our commitment to empowering communities remains steadfast.

Establishing Children Across America

Formation of Children Across America established to educate families on preventative healthcare.

Begins providing information on the importance of having a pediatrician and adhering to CDC immunization guidelines. Partners with Mass Health to provide health insurance for children and families.
2008: Launches Summer Reading, Math Club/Lunch and Literacy Program & Strong N Fit Program.
2012: Initiates transformation of Summer Reading and Math Club into STREAM Club.

Annual Halloween and Christmas Outreach Initiatives

Organizes Halloween party with coat, gloves, scarves, and backpack giveaway. Additionally, holds annual Pumpkin Stroll for 12 consecutive years. Launches Christmas gift giveaway, reaching its peak in 2016 with 100 presents distributed to local children in need.
2015: Fully establishes the STREAM Club after identifying literacy as a critical need in the community.

2019 -2021: Shifts operations exclusively online during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2020: Launches the Girls Love to Code program to address gender disparities in engineering.
