Every hour of every school day 857 kids drop out of high school. That’s nearly 7,000 students dropping out each day — about 1.2 million students dropping out of high school every year. Over the next decade – by 2026 – 12 million students will have dropped out of high school.
We know the high school drop-out track begins in the fourth grade.
Children not reading proficiently at the end of the third grade are at risk of becoming one of the 1.2 million students that do not graduate from high school every year in the United States.
Our programs are designed to provide at-risk children an environment that builds the skills ultimately needed to graduate from high school. Want to help us with our mission?
